Ari watches your inbox and calendar so you don't have to. That access is a responsibility we take seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

We store an OAuth refresh token on your account to maintain access between sessions. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account permissions page, by disconnecting Google in your Ari settings, or by deleting your Ari account.
How we store email and calendar data: Fetched email content (subject, sender, body, snippet) and calendar event details are stored in our database, encrypted at rest using AES-256 envelope encryption, scoped per user. Each email is also analyzed by Anthropic's Claude API to produce structured pipeline output (company name, contact, status, dates). When you disconnect Google in your Ari settings, all stored Gmail and Calendar data is deleted from our database immediately. When you delete your Ari account, all data tied to your account is deleted.
We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used to operate and improve the service and is not sold or shared with advertisers.

We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
We use Anthropic's Claude API to analyze your email threads, calendar events, resume, and job leads. Data sent to Anthropic is processed subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We do not send raw personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary for the analysis task.
Anthropic's API usage policies prohibit them from using customer data to train their models without explicit consent.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
After account deletion, we may retain anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted storage of OAuth tokens, and access controls limiting which personnel can access production data. No security system is perfect. We will notify affected users promptly in the event of a data breach.

Ari is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice in the product at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Ari after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are subject to the arbitration clause in our Terms of Service.
