These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ari service operated by Ari HQ, Inc. ("Ari," "we," "us"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Ari is an AI-powered career agent that reads your Gmail and Google Calendar to track your job search pipeline, score inbound job leads, and critique your resume. The service is currently in private beta and is provided "as is."
This is a beta product. Features may change, break, or be removed. Uptime is not guaranteed. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain availability but make no SLA commitments during the beta period.
To use Ari, you must:
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
To use the core features of Ari, you grant us read-only OAuth access to your Gmail and Google Calendar. Specifically:
Revoking Google access will stop Ari from syncing new data. Your existing pipeline data remains accessible in your account until you delete it.
You own your data. Your resume, pipeline data, notes, and profile information belong to you. We process it on your behalf to provide the service.
You can request export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected]. Deletion requests will be processed within 30 days.
By using Ari, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Ari is a tool. We track signals. We surface patterns. We score leads. But we are not responsible for your job search outcomes.
Ari does not guarantee that you will get interviews, offers, or employment. The service may miss signals, misclassify emails, produce inaccurate resume feedback, or score leads incorrectly. You should use your own judgment when making career decisions. Nothing in the service constitutes career, legal, or professional advice.
Ari uses Anthropic's Claude to generate resume critiques, pipeline analysis, and lead scores. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You are responsible for reviewing and acting on any AI-generated suggestions. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated output.
The Ari service, including its software, design, and brand, is owned by Ari HQ, Inc. and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the service as described.
You retain full ownership of the content you upload to Ari, including your resume text and profile information.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARI HQ, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. The arbitration will take place in Delaware, or via video conference if you prefer.
You may opt out of this arbitration clause by sending written notice to [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes not subject to arbitration will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
You may stop using Ari and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where practicable.
On termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Ari HQ, Inc. is incorporated in Delaware. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Ari regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements.
